Heading for the Dreaming Spires

Following a competitive tender, CBRE was awarded the contract through its technical engineering services arm, Norland Managed Services which it acquired last year.

It will deliver planned mechanical, electrical and building fabric maintenance as well as project, energy and third party contractor management and hard landscaping services across the University’s 88 properties at its Norwich campus. The contract goes live on the 1 September 2015.

The University of East Anglia is an internationally renowned academic institution with social and cultural facilities which is home to over 15,000 students in a 2,500sqft campus. The university is part of the Norwich Research Park that houses over 3,000 scientists, one of Europe’s biggest concentrations of researches.

A spokesperson for the university stated: “The establishment of this contract is a vital aspect of our wider Built Assets strategy and will ensure that we can achieve our objective of delivering a fully compliant, comprehensive risk based maintenance regime.”

Cofely award

The company has secured an integrated FM contract with Molson Coors UK. The five-year contract covers a comprehensive range of IFM services.

Approximately 100 directly employed Cofely staff will deliver services to the company’s brewing facilities and offices.

Services will include asset maintenance, office and industrial cleaning, site services, security, pest control, grounds maintenance, waste management and recycling.
