Courting Lawyers and Saving Bank

Shepherd FM has strengthened its standing in the legal services sector, after being appointed by international law firm Simmons & Simmons.

The contract takes immediate effect and will provide a range of mechanical & electrical and fabric services at Simmons & Simmons’ City Point headquarters, as well as at its Eden House offices in the heart of the City’s financial district.

Established in the City of London in 1896, the international law firm has offices in key financial centres across Asia, Europe and the Middle East.

“This win comes hot on the heels of new contracts with other international law firms,” said Noel Clancy, CEO, Shepherd FM. “We fully understand the needs of a large successful firm such as Simmons & Simmons and we believe our ability to deliver service and support will ensure this is a successful partnership.”

Standard Chartered banks on Shepherd again

Shepherd FM has also announced the renewal of its contract at Standard Chartered Bank’s headquarters at 1 Basinghall Avenue, London. Since establishing the partnership in 2009, Shepherd FM and Standard Chartered Bank have championed a ‘One Team’ partnership, which has seen the facilities management team fully integrated into the bank’s day-to-day operation.

The contract will run for another two years and will see Shepherd FM’s in-house team continue to provide a CRES Helpdesk, round the clock reactive M&E and PPM and will also see the introduction of Shepherd’s compliance tool ACT.

The renewal was 'saved' after a formal tender process.
